Former President Jonathan Congratulates Wizkid On His Recent Win At MOBO Awards

 

Wizkid’s recent win at the MOBO Awards has elicited responses from all over the country – Surprisingly, former president Goodluck Jonathan has also congratulated him – He said Wizkid’s win has made Nigerians all over the world proud we had earlier reported that popular Nigerian musician

Wizkid had won the award for Best International Act at the recently organised MOBO Awards, the first African act to do so. Since his win, many people have taken to social media to congratulate him. Surprisingly, former president Goodluck Jonathan did the same. He took to his Facebook page to congratulate Wizkid saying his win has raised Nigeria’s flag high for the positive, and not the negative;

When Nigeria does well, I cannot help but feel well. My happiness is tied to the happiness of Nigeria and when Nigerians break records and take the name of Nigeria to greater heights it exhilarates me. Thank you Wizkid for raising Nigeria’s flag high for the positive, not the negative. Your emergence as the Best International Act at the #MOBOAwards is a proud moment for Nigeria.
