Hope for Benue Victims- (AHF)
Arm of Hope Foundation (AHF) is a
Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization established in 2005 as an
independent charity organization and was later incorporated in 2010 in
order to meet the growing needs of vulnerable people on a wider scale.
Born out of compassion for the poor,
the down trodden, the vulnerable, widows and backed with life
experiences, the foundation is not just about empowering these special
people but to constantly monitor how they manage their lives, knowing
that we have become part of them and as such, they can confidently say
“we have been taken care of”.
Backed by a determined and passionate
board, a team of passionate staff and a robust volunteer base, Arm of
Hope Foundation is continually making waves in empowering generations.
AHF team presently in camp 2 Daudu Makurdi, Benue State.
The recent attack on innocent lives and properties by fulani herdsmen has left families helpless, hopeless and without sources of income. The Benue state government has become overwhelmed with the situation of the internally displaced persons (victims affected by the flood and the fulani killings).
The prevailing living conditions in these IDP camps are appalling, horrendous and inhumane. These people have no access to good water, toilet facilities or medical care. The camps were all littered with children who are out of school and have no access to educational materials.
Arm of hope aims to provide portable drinking water, toilet facilities, health centre for their medical needs and educational facilities for the children.
An opportunity to help Benue victims of the fulani herdsmen attack. Help displaced families in dire need.
